A Few Facts About Rhinog Fach

Location -
Rhinog Fach is a mountain in Snowdonia and forms part of the Rhinogydd. Technically Rhinog Fach is a subsidiary summit of Y Llethr missing Marilyn status by 3 metres. Thus making it a sub Marilyn along with Diffwys. To the north lies its higher cousin Rhinog Fawr, separated by the shapely pass of Blwch Drws Ardudwy. Although shorter than the highest mountain in the Rhinog range, Y Llethr, it is often regarded as the true 'king of the Rhinogydd' due to its spectacular rocky peak. Unlike Fach, Y Llethr's peak is grassy and unremarkable.

Summit -
The summit of Rhinog Fach has a cairn on a rocky top. Rhinog Fach stands at 712 metres (2,336 feet).
