A Birkett is one of the 541 Lake District fells described in Bill Birkett's book Complete Lakeland Fells. This book first published in 1994 described 129 walks taking in every hill over 1000 feet.

The Birketts cover most of the Lake District and some of the fells can be very quiet due to the outlying remoteness of them. They reflect virtually all the Wainwrights (except for Mungrisedale Common, Castle Crag, one of the tops of Armboth Fell, one of the tops of Baystones Wansfell and one of the top of Greystones) as well as most of the Wainwright Outlying Fells.

Below is a list of all the Birketts I have climbed so far and further down the page is a list of all the Birketts I still have to climb.

I started my Birketts on Loughrigg Fell on 20-06-2002.
